Testing Salt Water Content

Ensure Salt Level (Sodium Chloride) is 2200-2500ppm

You will need to test sodium chloride levels. This can be carried out using a salt tests strip.

• Turn on the pumps for 5 minutes to circulate the water.

Step 1.
Take a sample of water from the spa in a small cup (about 25mm / 1” full).

Step 2.
Place the lower end of the strip into the water.

Step 3.
Leave strip in water for 3 – 5 minutes until yellow band at the top of strip turns dark.

Step 4.
Obtain your reading: where top of white peak falls on the number scale.
Read top of peak to the nearest 0.2 division.

Step 5.
Correspond the test result reading number with the numbers on the back of the bottle.

Is the Salt Level between 2200-2500 ppm?
